You can use InfinityXT with an email address where you still receive old-system email messages.

The process is simple:

- Be sure the "Keep old-system email" option is turned on in InfinityXT's server account properties, for the relevant email address.
- Check your EmailXT first with InfinityXT. InfinityXT will get all EmailXT messages from the designated mailbox but will keep all old-system email there.
- Check your old-system email using your old email client. The messages left on the mailbox by InfinityXT are to be retrieved this way.

You should check your old-system messages right after checking EmailXT messages. For high-volume mailboxes, this could not work so well since incoming EmailXT messages may reach your mailbox precisely between the two email client checks.
